After capturing hearts around the world with his raw vocals, poetic lyrics, and a sound shaped by R&B and hip-hop influences, Irish singer-songwriter Dermot Kennedy returns with a new tour titled A Promised Return. Borrowed from a recent lyric, the title encapsulates the essence of this tour as a return to the core of what first sparked his musical journey: one man, his words, and a room that listens.

As an artist, he is drawn to life’s extremes with love and loss, joy and sorrow, and weaves these themes together with the precision of a poet. Inspired by writers such as Black Ice and Amir Sulaiman, and musical peers like Ben Howard and James Blake, he crafts music that is both unflinchingly honest and deeply moving. His breakthrough came with the debut EP Doves & Ravens, and he has since opened for artists including Glen Hansard and James Vincent McMorrow.
