Loveland Festival
Do you still have some energy left in you after Dekmantel? Techno heads, head over to Amsterdam’s Sloterpark for Loveland Festival this weekend, with a lineup just as packed. Ready for Eric Prydz, Indira Paganotto, KETTAMA, Mall Grab, and Olympe on Saturday? Get some rest and prepare for another full day of dancing on Loveland’s Sunday. The lineup will quickly renew your energy: Anfisa Letyago, Black Coffee, Depth Over Distance, Honey Dijon, Lily Palmer, and many more major players are ready to go.
Paradigm Festival
Club Paradigm in Groningen was once named the best underground club in The Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxemburg during Amsterdam Dance Event. The intimate feeling of the club is not lost on Paradigm Festival, which gets bigger every year without losing its own identity. On Saturday, names like Nelly, BAHSKKA, Rey Colino b2b Moopie, and Ellen Allien b2b Dr. Rubinstein bring serious heat. Dutch icons like Human Space Machine, Tammo Hesselink, Elias Mazian b2b ISAbella, and Sandrien play their big tracks on Sunday.
Intercell Outdoor: Narciss pres. Language of Love
Narciss is one of those artists that make you feel their techno all over your body just as much as it enters your brain. DJing with vinyl and digitally? No biggie for Narciss. Their sets are ever so unpredictable, but always a good time. The DJ brings acts like Dana Montana b2b Estella Boersma and DJBOUNTY3000 to play this edition of Language of Love at the garden of De Binnenplaats in Amsterdam. This milkshake brings all the dancers to the yard.
HIDE x Free Your Mind
Hardtechno is everywhere - and especially in Nieuwegein near Utrecht this weekend. The deep and bold sounds of Isabelle Beaucamp, Kiki Solvej, Lena, Len Faki, Nastia, Noneoftheabove, Space 92, and many others will roam through the park of De Middengaarde, where even the daytime can’t stop their darkness. PSA: you don’t need to wear black to enjoy techno, but be prepared for classic Dutch summer weather.
TRAILERFEST 2023
TRAILERFEST is as ironic as can be: their motto is ‘stay away!’. We don’t actually recommend staying away,because the lineup is pretty slick. JEANS and WOODY 92 take you into their trippy spaceship with them, and Lola Palmer gets everyone grooving. ‘Grandpa hardcore’ Drokz has the honor of closing one of the stages, so if you’re into relentless tunes, this one’s for you.
NOX on the Beach Festival 2023
NOX celebrates drum and bass in its purest form. Their own beach festival has been a yearly gathering for beat lovers from the south of the country for years, and their Lansard Beach location makes you forget you’re in The Netherlands for a second. NOX stands for lasers, bass music, and its tight community, and invites artists like CaitC, Imanu, Isis Cloudt, Lens, Netsky, Rachel Green, and Thys to play their rippers.
Melody Garden
Mystic Garden’s baby sis touches down at Thuishaven this Saturday, bringing you acts like Stefanie Raschke, Lövestad, and Mitch de Klein. If Melody Garden is anything like Mystic Garden, Thuishaven transforms into the wildest of dreams this weekend. The already circus-like tent transforms into an extravaganza with fire breathers, fairy-like dancers, and plenty of hypnotizing lights.
Wavy at the beach
Three heavyweights join forces to turn a beach club into an absolute state of madness. Ben Sterling, Philou Louzolo, and Milion take over Beachclub Later aan Zee, where the grooves will undoubtedly be immaculate. This day full of certified bangers has the beautiful sea as a backdrop, so make sure to stay long enough to see the sun go down.
