Unwind stands for one thing – and that thing is hard techno. Their ‘Welcome to Hell | Hard Special’ touches down this week at Rotterdam’s darkest nightclub, Perron.
This empty, old post building in the center of Rotterdam perfectly fits the industrial sounds coming from ҪЀҞТѦ, Die + Rich, Parapher, and Sørenga, who’ll ramp up the heat and the BPMs.
Bondgenoten Festival, 18 May
What could be better than hanging out in Lofi’s courtyard in the sun on Ascension Day? Partying in the sunny courtyard (not to mention, carrying on the celebrations in their club hall with a stellar light show!)
Bondgenoten invites DJs such as Tommy Theo and Tjade, who’ll bring their high-energy dance floor music and club bangers to Amsterdam this Thursday.
Day Affair Hemelvaartsdag, 18 May
Techno event organizer Nachtcollege returns to Eindhoven with another big-room indoor rave, and their lineup does everything but compromise. Dyen, DIØN b2b Stan Christ, Cynthia Spiering: need we say more?
Vibes is a new and very central event venue in the city of lights, in the place of the former Beursgebouw. So gather your friends, wear comfy shoes, and prepare to be blown away by these forces of techno.
Intercell Outdoor: Summer Opening, 18 May
Intercell celebrates its grand re-opening of the courtyard summer series in their beloved city hideaway this Thursday.
So, bring out the sunny outfits for a day of groovy (but heavy) dancing, as selectors like DJ Sweet6teen b2b Angel D’lite, FRANCK, and Sol Ortega take over De Binnenplaats. Immerse yourself in the concrete madness and dance to the melodic techno Intercell is known for.
Soenda Festival Utrecht, 20 May
Head to this festival near Utrecht to catch a special b2b between Elias Mazian and Tom Trago, alongside DJ sets by original house selector Suze Ijó, dance floor killer Skin on Skin, techno top boys Len Faki and DYEN, the punchy and playful Afra, and many more.
The line-up reads like a roll call of electronic music darlings, and it’s not one to miss.
Lakedance 2023, 20 May
A date for the diary of anyone desperately seeking a tropical day of dancing on a beach. Yep, you read that right: Lakedance takes place around a large lakeside near Eindhoven, with a sandy shore and the chance to dip in the water when the weather allows.
Choose between five stages of music, where the range takes you from EDM to old school hits, and vigorous house and techno.
Thuishaven: Bart Skils + Nachtshow, 20 May
Bart Skils is one of those DJs that just doesn’t need an introduction. The techno heavyweight is set to play ten (!) hours of techno at Thuishaven on Saturday, May 20, and if that isn’t enough: the afterparty ‘Nachtshow’ has its own feisty lineup with Comrade Winston, DRKNGHTS, and Lee Ann Roberts. And in case you missed DYEN at Soenda; he takes over the ten-hour relay shift from Bart Skils on Sunday with his own Thuishaven summer special.
