Wildeburg isn’t so much a festival as a 72-hour choose-your-own-adventure. Think bamboo tunnels that open onto hidden dance hubs, 24-hour programming, forest cinemas and enough art installations to get blissfully lost in. This year’s line-up zig-zags from techno tastemakers Anetha and DVS1 to funky house hero Chris Stussy and disco wizard Gerd Janson – plus a tonne of Dutch talent for good measure. Three days in De Groene Heuvels = lakeside swims by day, psychedelic wonderland by night. 2025’s bill is gloriously head-spinning: Massive Attack, FKA twigs, Iggy Pop, Underworld, Amyl & the Sniffers and dozens more share tents named after Lewis Carroll references. Between sets, meditate in the forest, kayak the lake or hunt down the secret DJ booth in the woods. Adventure guaranteed, reality optional.

Welcome to the loudest playground in Brabant. WiSH Outdoor is a three-day technicolour whirlwind where hardstyle rules the night and confetti is practically a headliner. This year’s line-up slaps: B-Front vs Galactixx, D-Block & S-te-Fan, Outsiders, and Kris Kross Amsterdam bring the noise, while Ronnie Flex & The Fam turn up the swagger.

North Sea Jazz isn’t just for sax-heads and soul purists, it’s a genre-bending, star-studded maze of music that swings from smoky ballads to floor-filling funk. This year’s line-up is pure velvet: Mary J. Blige, Ezra Collective, Jacob Collier, Lady Blackbird and Thee Sacred Souls, plus legends and future icons in every hall. No frills, all feels. Bospop is the Netherlands’ answer to the great rock gatherings of yesteryear. This year’s line-up brings nostalgic firepower with Simple Minds, Roxette, Train, Snow Patrol, and Melissa Etheridge – all primed to deliver fist-pumping choruses and big-band bliss. The crowd’s a mix of lifers and laidback first-timers, the vibe is timeless, and the guitars? Loud as hell. If you’ve got a soft spot for soaring hooks and denim vests, this is your midsummer mecca.

Pop-punk royalty crashes into Amsterdam for one explosive night of eyeliner, power chords, and shout-along anthems. Green Day’s still tearing up stages like it’s 2004. Expect a raucous, razor-tight set stacked with classics (“American Idiot,” “Basket Case,” “Holiday”) plus a few newer curveballs for the diehards. If you’ve ever screamed “I don’t wanna be an American idiot!” into a hairbrush, now’s your chance to do it with 17,000 others at full volume.
